But it will cost Barca €35m to sign him permanently. Personally I find it infuriating how some clubs can just ignore the rules. It would be nice if some authority stepped in to prevent Barca making it a permanent deal, but I somehow don't see it happening. Can't fathom how they can afford to sign anyone when they are as much debt as they are. I lost respect for them when they were given a transfer ban then appealed against it meaning they signed the likes of Suarez Rakitic etc and I think they won the champions league that season and I'm sure one of them scored or got an assist. They can now do this. Perhaps Derby can ask for advice from them.

Interesting to see how he goes. He's looked excellent for Le Mans

Not sure if he was too young at the time to get a % of future sale or something in but shame we didn;t!

If crooks is in there on his own he doesn't get those chances. Just because they didn't touch the ball doesn't mean they weren't involved or that the tactics didn't contribute. True, but they could've been anyone. Didn't all have to be strikers. I just hope Wilder didn't see that tactic "work" against Reading and think "well there's plan B sorted"

We will have gotten compensation for him, but no transfer fee.
TeaCider24 12,402
A situation I don't fault the club or the player for. He looked good when I watched the U23s hammer Redcar Athletic, I was disappointed to see him go, but I can't blame a young lad in a foreign country for being homesick when his contract is up.

Was also with us over the Pulis years where the path from youth to first team was almost non existant. Wouldn't have really blamed any young players who left then, they wouldn't be getting a look in.
