Mr_Maz 2,899
Connolly was a clinical finisher in the u23s if BHA are sick of him, could be an astute purchase if we get him to fulfil some of his potential
Weasel 966
His record at PL2 level is pretty impressive, 45 premier league appearances as a 21 year old as well. Seems like he's got bags of ability but a bit of a nob.
BoroJake 2,345
Unfollowing Brighton is a bit strange. Maybe it’s a permanent? Can’t imagine he’ll be cheap though

Can’t imagine he’ll be cheap though 21 year old that they clearly have issues with, has scored 1 in 9 for them. Not so sure they'd be able to demand too much with the known problem. I won't pretend I know too much about him, as I don't tend to watch Brighton that often, so I can't really give an informed opinion on him as a player.
AllBoro10 2,235
I would describe as a player who plays in bursts and is aggressive and a pest for defenders, think he’s got goals in him but top end of championship is probably his level right now and a move makes sense as obviously he’s had off the pitch issues. I think Wilder could be the right manager for him personally and also his style of play massively suits us. Hope this happens. Probably will given he’s unfollowed Brighton. Suppose it could be permanent.
Denzel Zanzibar 6,968
Didn't Brighton put a stupid valuation on him and it basically went to his head? I think Wilder could probably sort him out if he came here but looking at his stats he's probably a championship level striker at best. Not sure why we'd buy someone who can't do it in the PL if our aim is promotion this season. Personally I'd much prefer Dwight Gayle (proven Championship striker already) and Balogun (far too good for PL2, could probably make the step up to PL with us.)

EDIT: also seen you suggest we get gayle whos never done it in the prem and is currently 32, surely its better to take a chance on a young prospect that bring in a 32 year old whos never done anything in the prem? CrazyL 2,565
Given Wilders performance so far I’m happy to trust his judgment.

Not sure why we'd buy Gayle for the same reason. He can't do it in the PL and will want a decent wage as it's his last chance. No resale chance there either. That's be a classic Boro signing, 4 year contract on stupid money.

He is a stationary forward and isn’t remotely dynamic or quick enough. He is a forward for a team that plays Warnock/Pulis style lumping of the ball. When he came on a game ago and the ball was launched up to him, he held 3 defenders off and kept the ball upfield. He has a role to play in the squad even if its just the last 10-15 minutes here and there. I also remember Warnock saying he's one of the lowest wages in the squad so it's not like we're saving 20k a week.
