Don't worry about looking down the table. As i mentioned before i'm hugely encourages. We're making stratospheric leaps forward in the way we play but it's not going to click over night. Def

Extremely encouraged by last nights performance. Will put a bit more down later on. Forget the result, 2nd game in and we’re learning a new way of playing. There were some very good things on that pit

Half of two halves that

Preston started well and we couldn't keep the ball for love nor money. We grew into it really well though. Passing got much better as the half went on. 

Nice seeing us turn defence into attack quickly at times with 2 or 3 cutting through balls. Much better than watching us huff and puff and punt the ball up. 

Nice to score from a corner as well!

Was just saying to Wilson, that Blades fan that came on said Wilder had a DM with no legs and masked his weaknesses and I think we might be seeing the same thing play out with Howson here. Letting him do what he's good at without over stretching him and asking him to do literally everything.

We got better after a lacklustre start, I thought at one point Wilder had told them to pace themselves more. The goal made the big difference and we started to dominate the ball although without the benefit of replays I would have given them a penalty for the Jones tackle. If we are to play this system then I think we need to look to the market for specialist wing backs
