Derby County.

There has only ever been one preferred bid for MM and Quantima for Derby, that’s the bid from the Consortium built around former directors of the club. They are the ones who all this waiting and prevarication is about.

They want to pick the club up debt free, assets almost intact and be seen by the Derby fans as the saviours of the Rams. There have been 2 solid bids for the club by American based consortiums and the administrators have still not done anything but drag their feet and *** them off imo hoping they go away and leave only one bid on the table because any outside new owners won’t put up with any lingering influence by the old guard or MM nor will they let MM get away with taking any more money.

Latest EFL update, basically telling the administrators to stop trying to avoid the issue of the claims and actually deal with them, also calling for the other parties to compromise to prevent liquidation.

That’s essentially what I said needed to happen in my post earlier today. Only odd thing is that the statement requests all interested parties to meet - but nowhere does it say the EFL will be attending. They seem to be trying to keep a distance. I know they cannot interfere in what is a legal process, but by proposing and hosting a meeting they would be in a better position to know who exactly is telling the truth.

wonder what conspiracies the Derby fans are going to conjure up to moan about this statement....

Seems like they just think everything is unfair and they can’t understand why the EFL has taken so long to class boro and Wacom be claims as debts. Nothing on how Derby have dragged their feet for over 12 months now and has made the EFL to wait until the last minute.

Derby fans are the same fans who lauded MM when it benefited them and they thought he could get away with it.

Not all the fans were like that but they were quickly shut down as being soft Ewes and not real Rams.

Now these fans who lauded MM have come to realise that maybe MM shouldn’t have done these things but they have been punished and Boro and Wycombe can hod off as their claims are baseless and have no merit, their club could die because of these clubs and the EFL

At no stage do they accept that their are victims to the crimes to football that Derby under MM committed or that they have a right to claim them. Due to this any explanation about how it’s been MM and the Derby board who for 2 years avoided dealing with this in any way or the administrators working for MM who are still avoiding this that are delaying this coming before arbitration.

Most of these fans would rather their club die than to see this issue dealt with by arbitration, it must be rejected utterly and ignored, statements like It’s better we die than a single pound goes to these greedy hucking Hankers is a majority view on their sites.

Some question the motives and actions of the administrators for not dealing with this whether it’s valid or not, unfortunately they are such as small minority that they don’t count.

Nobody can make a good faith argument that if ruled in their favour the Wycombe and Boro claims aren't football debt. Like, that is just a fact.

they really don't understand the nature of the claims under EFL rules, even after the statement makes it clear.

the vocal ones are stunningly stupid

Highly emotional people in an echo chamber of righteous anger... Many of whom probably weren't the brightest to start with. Certainly not bright enough to understand the complexities of a legal case, anyway.
