Not bad. Is it just me or should the white kit have a red band and white logo?

I think the White kit should have a Blue band with Black piping and Black logo.

Having said that I would be happy with things just as they are!

Spot on that man, The band is the sole reason i started supporting Boro. When i was about 7 or 8 when everyone in school was a Liverpool, Man Utd or Leeds fan, I got a Cork Gaelic  Jersey, Got my mam

If we are going retro on kits, can we go back to this please,

The White Band to Boro is the three pointed Star to Mercedes, the four rings to Audi or the Golden M to McDonald's. Stuttgart and Chicago Fire are the only two teams around the world that have anythin

Been championing a move away from the current badge for a while. It’s awful. I’d like to go back to the 1986 badge but with 1876 on it instead. No to blue lions though.

But you can't see a white band on a white shirt. 😉

Exactly, scrap the white kit and Go Green.

Keep the current horrible one if we cannot have our original badge back.

Nothing against the round 1986 badge but it’s always felt like it was a stop gap one that had to be made in 24 hours to put on the new company forms. Compared to the current badge it’s excellent, but if we could I would vote for our original badge.

I want the old, old badge. No crest, no shield, just a lion with MFC under it. Clean and simple, big fan of minimalist kits and logos personally.

Our current one is tacky as ***, feels very 14 year old on a 2 week free trial of photoshop to me.

That probably hints at Cazoo being our next sponsor.

Weird tweet otherwise.

If the sponsor looks like the shirts someone posted the other day I'll be happy with that. Nice to not have a gambling sponsor as well.

I’m not sure but when the deal was announced I’m sure cazoo said they were not going to sponsor multiple teams and that they were committed to Everton.

i would be happy to see all gambling firms names removed from kits, the idea clubs can have official betting partners has always been wrong too me.

Just checked the official statement back in 2020 and there was no such comment made at the time, but they might have said that subsequently.

Personally, I'd be delighted to have a British car retailer advertising on our shirts rather than Gibraltar-based gambling companies (32Red and 888.com). I've refused to buy a Boro replica shirt for over a decade because I haven't wanted to be a walking billboard for pawnbrokers and bookies. If Cazoo are our shirt sponsor next season, I might actually buy both the home and away kits in celebration! (The white away kit would look really nice, providing you keep it clean).

    • A retired Shay Given gives us 15 more points than a season with Lumley
    • It’s going to be a hard transfer window and I think people may be expecting miracles. If we are to go up automatically we need to find an extra 20 or 18 points, a big, big ask. So the question would be, how much is the club willing to invest for a play off. To get up there we need to be out the blocks quickly and remain consistent and I don’t see that happening bedding in new players. The other question is how many quality players do we need and are they available, more likely, possibly not.  Realistically if we do well in the transfer market I’ll settle for the playoffs.
    • 2 goals in 26 games in Turkey demonstrates his goal scoring prowess, if this floats your boat  - fair enough. A resource who costs far more than his worth.
    • happy for Sunderland, about time they got out of the third tier. so, thats another to add to the play off hopefulls next year
    • considering the attitude and quickness to fault pick on posts that dont match thier view that a fair few of the more prolific posters on here, have. thats a bold statement and i admire you for stating your opinion, which in all fairness is quite an accurate assessment.  if we get the Ben Gibson of the AK era ,then im not against resigning him but his form at the first half of this recent season was not a patch on that. add to that his wilderness years at burnley and the fee/wages ,well yep im in with the dont sign crowd. hes got most of the boxes ticked and tbh im not bothered wether hes more suited to a flat back four system, we could and most likely would do a lot worse in our choice.of alternatives.  personally i would take a gamble on ryan porteous from hbs , young(23), agressive, leader, brave and good in the air and with the ball on the ground, i say gamble purely because hes had off field issues and fall outs with management.
