Rat catcher 293
Brilliant win today and away from home. Fulham on Wednesday will be a totally different game. We will need to sort our poor defending out and win the mid field battles. We are more than capable of beating them on our home turf. BRING IT ON.
BoroSmoggie 2,678
Our away fans have been something else this year, especially since Wilder took over. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 3
RiseAgainst 3,777
Wasn't able to follow the game today because I ended up in the away end at Elland Road. However, the players should be feeling pretty good tonight. It's the perfect time for the likes of Watmore and Coburn to be hitting the net, with two thumping strikes to boot. I do worry that Lumley's rush-of-blood moments will cost us at some point, but hopefully the defence can tighten up to reduce his involvement. I really wouldn't fancy him as the last line of defence at Wembley. Massive ten days coming up for our club, and we should know our fate by Easter Monday. At least the teams around us are routinely dropping points - the table looks pretty good tonight.
Foogle 2,078
Was out at Alton towers today so just got the live scores. I'd say I've experienced more ups and downs reading the comments on here tbh.
Dynamo Kev 1,552
dont worry about performances at this stage of the season. its the results that count. the other boro were scrapping for their lives on their cut up tight pitch. if fans are expecting us to play tiki taka or whatever its called then they are being unrealistic lol. fantastic win boys. 4-0 away from home. we couldnt buy a win away a month ago.
wilsoncgp 9,230
Was busy today so only just seen the goals, Tav and Watmore both took their goals well. Delighted that Coburn got his goal too. Deary me though, what was Lumley up to? Running out to right back is one thing, he's obviously asked to sweep up when he can and those errors will happen. Though even with that caveat, I'd argue given the position of everybody that that's probably the worst decision he's made in terms of coming out. It's the one where he slapped it into the path of their striker in the second half though that takes the cake, for me.

estonpidge 1,442
Good result, one game at a time and all that. I think we'll all admit anything we pick up on Wednesday is a bonus. I am a bit gutted that Watmore ruined my Boro scorers prediction 😃
Dan1234 1,048
I do wonder if there is something behind the scenes with Sporar? Maybe he's close to activating a must buy and we aren't keen? Don't think anyone can suggest Connolly offers more than Sporar. Without setting the world alight he is our only striker who offers a bit presence/link up play (assuming Coburn is never likely to start). I think Sporar/Balogun is likely our best partnership with Watmore/Coburn off the bench which to my memory is the only combination which hasn't been tried.
Downsouth 6,175
All I know is that the last 3 away games were against teams in blue and we were playing in red and not green! Says something to me and hopefully our remaining away games we can play in our home kit😊

Sporar is probably the one least likely to be here next season so it makes sense to give him less time. It’s not like he’s been much better in 2022. I can see us buying Connolly and loaning Balogun again next season to keep the continuity going. Get a quality keeper, left footed cb and competition for both wing backs and we can get off to a flying start.

It does seem to make a difference, when we play in red we look like Middlesbrough and maybe that affects opposition teams psychologically. That green kit just looks like any other teams second kit as you say, it’s drab and lack lustre. Fortunately the only game left where we will be forced into wearing that hideous kit is the Bournemouth game. I fear we may well lose that one.
