When Scott came we were all dreaming of him finding a Pukki for us, a player who had seriously underwhelmed in his career before Norwich. Now we are having meltdowns because that is exactly what the C

Just seen the figure for the Tav deal. 9m plus add ons. Hopefully it’s another 6m in add ons and not a few. Pretty bad deal on our behalf, when you see Lewis-potter going for 17m upfront etc

But then again, Keith downie reported we had already rejected 10m. So somebody has messed up 😂

If it's £9m, I don't think we'd sell.

We dug our heels in over Spence, a player that was publicly not part of our plans, was unliked here and had clear issues with the club himself.

Tavernier is a popular and key player here, and he clearly has an affection for the club even if he'd rather test himself at a higher level now.

Ive just seen a journalist mention £9m plus add ons for Tavernier which is less than what we got for Spence. I hope this is not true as that is a joke of a figure.

Loans in.

21-22 Onel Hernández, James Léa Siliki, Andraž Šporar, Aaron Connolly, Folarin Balogun. Successes? 0

20-21 Marcus Bettinelli, Patrick Roberts, Yannick Bolasie, Neeskens Kebano. Successes? Maybe Bolasie

19-20 Patrick Roberts, Lukas Nmecha, Ravel Morrison, Harold Moukoudi. Successes? Maybe Roberts.

18-19 Jordan Hugill, Muhamed Bešić, Sam McQueen, Danny Batth, George Saville, Rajiv van La Parra. Successes? Batth. (Technically Saville, I had forgotten we loaned him first. Bešić's second spell was indifferent.)

17-18 Connor Roberts, Lewis Baker, Jack Harrison, Muhamed Bešić. successes: Bešić

In 5 years that's 2 definite successes and 2 partial successes out of 23 loans. That's pretty appalling.

Quick (and bad) maths, I was going from the 15/16 season.

But I forgot Ramirez anyway, so I was wrong even in my own mind.

But from 16/17 onwards, it's slim pickings.

I'd probably say Callum Chambers was a success too.

And Kalas

It says that's what they offered, not that's what we want
