na stuff him. he took the money and left. which is fair play. but he went to relegation favorites. which for me shows how desperate he wanted to play premier league(get a massive pay rise).

when they go down he'll be asking for another transfer or happy playing in the champo again because hes rich doing it this time. its not a great move at all for him. hes clearly in it for the money, bad career move for him.

Cant begrudge the lad at least a shot at the Prem. Hardly his fault Liverpool werent in for him

On a side note, wouldnt actually suprise me to see Liverpool snap him up at some point if he carries on progressing.

Fry and McNair are back for QPR but 1 or 2 more would be great, we've lost Wood, Hall Peltier and Bamba and replaced them with Lenihan. I know Wood and Hall never actually played mind

So in effect we’ve lost Peltier and Bamba and replaced them with Lenihan, and Smith remember. 1 more should do (LCB) which would give us Fry/Lenihan as CB options, New guy/Bola/Fry as LCB and Dijksteel/McNair/Lenihan as RCB.

Pretty bitter that Kev, not sure you really believe your fair play comment

I go by the it’s better to regret something you did that something you never did. Obviously can’t be applied to everything but he might have thought the chance to play premier league might not come around again. Plus extra cash. Good luck to him I say.  I know if someone doubled my salary I’d probably go for it

You raise a few good points there, is be happy with 1 LCB

Yes, definitely should have stayed with us, earned less, played in the Championship some more, maybe get promoted and then play for the relegation favourites next year.  That's the good career move.

As I said yesterday, he's been giving us 1 more season for the last few years.

Id rather he stayed again, but he got an opportunity to progress and has taken it.

Read that the average footballer has a "top level" career of only eight years. In that light, I can understand his decision to roll the dice and go for what is a better deal as he might not get the chance again if something had gone wrong this year. If it is correct that we asked for one more year, last time round and the agreement was we would not stand in his way this year, then it is only right that we keep our word unlike (allegedly) Spurs with Mr K. Good luck lad and meet all the targets that will earn us more cash.
