Djed was much better at RWB than RW, which was what we needed in Warnock's system, so we loaned him out in favour of our RW prospect. Then the manager changed to someone who plays with wing-backs, and it turned out our RW prospect was also extremely good as a wing-back. Original RWB excelled in his loan team, but, we didn't miss him a jot, so everyone's a winner. We were a wingback short all season and Jones can play either side ive seem him put some great crosses in on his left peg when playing LW. Considering both were the outstanding wingbacks in the league when we had a pair of Stoomers on the left I'd say we missed him an awful lot in the end 😅.

As he's a young academy graduate and they'd be getting compensation if he leaves on a free next year (Fulham just got £7m for Carvalho). I'd say they'd be looking for about 10m? He is a 21 year old left footed CB with 3 senior seasons under his belt already.

Imo that's the going rate for a young English CB prospect at this level who has had a good season behind him. They may not be caring that its his last year of his contract if financially they don't need to sell and I think they might fancy he will sign on if they are performing well next season which they may well do. I would say that Isiah was an above-average LW, but an exceptional RW/RWB. I'm not at all convinced that Spence is above him at RWB, and especially not at RW. While if we'd kept Spence we would have had an attack on both side, we wouldn't have seen the best of either player. Djed wasn't as interested/wanted under Warnock as he was at Forest, and we wouldn't have seen Isiah flourish as he did.

With one year left on his contract? I was think more £4m-£5m.

I seen Jones absolutely slaughter QPR and Bristol City playing as a LW so I wouldn't say he wouldn't have played somewhere near the same level at LWB. Also Spence always performed well as a RWB and we will never know if Wilder would have got a tune out him. I'm convinced we finish top 6 with Spence and Jones at wingback. All ifs and buts now tho we will never know for sure. I'll be glad to move on from it when we have our 15-20mil

Keep in mind they will get a large compensation if he leaves on a free anyway as he's an academy product, so they'd be getting at least that amount even if they didn't sell this season. It doesn't matter as I've explained if Hull don't care about losing him on a tribunal they will want the going rate. They have new owners and probably getting a huge fee for KLP so I presume they aren't bothered about flogging their best defender.

Tarmo Kink Army 1,122
I don’t think we will get Gyokeres as the price is too high and not worth it so I wonder what other big money striker we will go for

Id be happy enough with Lucas Joao tbh.
