No that is him. He signed for Bristol but lasted about a month there before joining Fulham. And then West Ham. Maybe them personal issues are now resolved so he can head to Bournemouth. Why would Fredericks accept being 2nd choice though? He's a very talented and capable RWB, especially at this level. But everyone knows Jones is first choice, it's not hard to figure out when we're so nonchalant about selling Spence that we're not even willing to bother trying to reintegrate him, we just aren't worried about RWB as much because Jones is clearly very good in that position. We need competition but we have to be realistic and accept that some players we're after for RWB will look at Jones and wonder how on Earth they get into the team. We're probably better off promoting Joe Gibson to be his challenger for now. I also bet Fredericks was on a decent packet, I'd rather not throw our money at a player who we don't even think is good enough to start in our best team. 1 Link to post Share on other sites

Is what we saw post illness Jones' normal self? We definitely shouldn't rule out the possibility that he will regress this year. Even if he was playing at the level towards the end of the season I'd still have him over any other RWB in the division though. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
