Have we been linked with any strikers yet?

I'm on the Scott Twine hype bus. I'd like him paired with either Elijah Adebayo or Viktor Gyökeres. Should still have change left over from Spence.

Scott Twine and Teemu Pukki would be my dream championship front 2 as Twine could play that second striker role Wilder likes and Pukki can be the bagsman. Twine also free kick taker etc

Gyokeres and Twine the dream for me

Rhys Healey a bagsman if we could get him

The likes of Carlton Morris or Tom Bradshaw as 3rd choice or someone from the lower leagues Ryan Hardie, Dion Charles, Harry McKirdy, etc

Jorgen Strand Larsen, Demirovic if we've been looking at German and Dutch leagues

Would be happy with Bradshaw as 3rd choice

Gyökeres Partnered by Pukki or Twine would do me very nicely.

As an aside and it may be nothing, but a friend of mine lives in Bavaria and occasionally goes to watch a club called Greuther Fürth, who have just been relegated from the Bundesliga. He claims the word on the street there is that Boro have scouted a left wing back called Jetro Willems. On checking the ever reliable wikipedia, he was on loan at Newcastle in the past and scored against Liverpool and Man City while on loan.

Like I say, all rumour and hearsay, but given Greuther Fürth‘s relegation, I can see him maybe wanting away and being sold, whether that is to Boro, well 🤷‍♂️

He is not a good player. Don't think we need him when you have Coburn and Watmore either

He’s a decent goal getter. I wouldn’t mind him as back up but not overly arsed . Better out there . Certainly wouldn’t be high on my list of players I want signing but if things don’t go out away he’s a decent player to have on the bench

Remember him scoring a goal against Man United for the Geordies. If i remember correctly he was ok for them. Would maybe be a decent shout

Think people need to temper their expectations from Gyokeres. He's going to cost £10m and I think it's nigh-on guaranteed we won't spend that on a single player this summer. We should be looking for the next Gyokeres/Piroe/Pukki.

Would like 1 out and out striker and one number 10 to play as more of a shadow striker/ attacking midfielder role. Similar to how gibbs white has been playing for sheff utd and aribo for rangers. Twine would be ideal for that

MIDDLESBROUGH have received a boost in their pursuit for a new goalkeeper as Preston North End all but concede defeat in their efforts to re-sign Daniel Iversen.

The Leciester City goalkeeper has been on loan at Deepdale for the last 18 months and has been a near ever present in the Lilywhites side making 71 appearances. He recently won their Player of the Year award for last season as Preston went on to finish 13th in the table (The Northern Echo)

Is that a boos? It either means he is unaffordable for them or that he is done with the Championship. Can we afford a keeper from Leicester that's just done well in the Championship?
