A few reasons - He would be on relatively doable wages. - He would be able to aid the development of our young strikers. - He would be lethal on the end of Jones' low crosses. It’s purely about the club getting insurance -any club silly enough to take the risk could go ahead without one, or use an old one, however long ago that was. so the answer probably is - it depends on your insurer and their requirements, which may depend on the transfer fee and wages you want insured. Not happening I doubt his previous time here would have any impact, the area and club wasn’t what made him ‘miserable’. If anything he might feel he has a point to prove here. That said I don’t rate him, outside of the box he was bordering on none league quality and he missed a ton of glorious chances.
