I would be more concerned if we werent targetting multiple options at once. We should have a few options for first, second, third choice striker. Forss looked like a decent finisher on his highlights video (looked a better finisher than Gyokeres IMO) so would be happy to see him as an option. Brentford have clearly seen potential in him before to believe he was a worthy investment in their model so hopefully he can come in and fulfill it. How much is Akpom on a week? Freezing Akpom out then bringing him back and using him as a sub is strange - its almost interesting to see how he would do if Wilder needs to use him ( know theres been a bit of debate regarding whether its neccesity vs putting him in the shop window) but if he does well then I would have to question how he could be so easilly dismissed in the first place. 2 Link to post Share on other sites

He was gash for us previously. He's just had a year in Greece with a 1 in 5 strike rate in a terrible league. If we were looking at signing him we'd be outraged at picking up a 26 year old with his record. He remains Cakpom until proven otherwise. 3 Link to post Share on other sites
