Hope we’re getting someone in return

The only thing we’re getting is shafted. What the actual **** is going on in Gibbo’s head. The hub of the team for less than Spence. Can someone drive a Dr round to Gibson towers please before it’s too late.

If cash isn’t spent and quickly on quality I can see a Wilder walkout looming. I’m dying inside right now 🤯

100% and not just in the loan market, short-term thinking demands short-term success. If we blow our load on big loan signings, the pressure on us to go up goes through the bloody roof. I hope we reinvest this smartly and make our side look better for the long-term rather than the short.

Couldn't of said it better myself and we don't usually agree with each other 😅

More project signings like forss should lift confidence though

Side note but now we've sold Tav and Spence for 25m+ I'm underwhelmed with Prem loans potentially being our big marquee striker signings

Spending big on loan fees is just burning the money

25 million plus the loan clauses for Spence which were above 1 million and Morris money and more so close to 30

No matter what we sell Tav for, we shouldn't spend £15m on Gyokeres.

He won't be £15m I reckon, everyone inflates the fees for their players like we did with Spence and Tav

10m is my high end guesstimate for what the upfront fee would be

Worry is we spunk it all on PL loans for a one season hit at promotion.  Short term thinking.

Very big few weeks needed now I think. No player is irreplaceable but it will be bloody hard.
