"Groningen's sporting director Mark Jan Fledderus has not responded to TV 2's inquiries on Wednesday morning."

 

So there might be something in this yet.

Seems like they don’t want to sell and are holding out for a ridiculous bid if the article is true anyway, which is worrying as we could be another week or so without a striker

Half a dozen of us all read the same thing and immediately all thought the same thing, either we are all a sad and very desperate bunch (highly likely) or it's fairly obvious that the lad isn't in Groningen.
