TLF10 4,497
Coburn out on a season loan and McGoldrick in as 5th choice? Possibility or not?
Tarmo Kink Army 1,122
I trust wilder but McGouldrick feels a bit pointless would be mostly for the bench as backup but rather give that Spot for Coburn and bring in the 2/3 main strikers that are a must

McBurnie or Brewster or even Lys Mousset on a free , Mcgoldrick would be my last choice of the 4, but I trust CW to know what he wants.

RichAcklam2404 929
Im hugely underwhelmed by it…. However…. Positives? Experience, leader, cheap, knows Wilder and trusts each other etc. let’s trust wilder on this one

Hendrie_7 1,073
Didn't Wilder say in that interview the other day that there's going to be some big-name exciting signings, but that also going to be a few that we'll have to trust him on? Something along those lines anyway.
Smogzilla 7,484
I don't think we would be able to afford three big bonanza strikers even with the spence money. The wage bill could be a killer. McGoldrick makes sense if you get a couple of big hitters on top of that.

Get him in a League One team where he can play week in week out.
Brunners 7,982
McGoldrick as the 5th, barely ever plays, good experience, can be used in a pinch striker allowing Josh Coburn to go on loan and play 46 games wouldn't be the worst move in the world. I don't expect McGoldrick to get any major minutes or anything
