Gayle I feel is about 2 years too late plus he's rarely played for 2 seasons, however if he can somehow get back to his best, then he's proved to be a lethal finisher in this division. Steffen, Lenihan, Giles, Gyokeres, Gayle would be one hell of a window. I don't remember this, got a link? Would seem unusual man management to come out in public and tell everyone what someone is earning relative to his colleagues. But is that “paid up front” as in that is the total fee before conditional add-ones or does it mean we have only paid 3m€ out in cash so far, because we were paying in instalments (which we almost always do)? I'm sure I read that Spurs start pre-season next week in Korea, so you'd think they'd want him to be part of that.
