We have. I know for a fact we have

We literally haven't, that's not to say I expect us to spend more or anything like that. But we haven't been close to breaching FFP and the accounts show exactly that.

We literally couldn't sign two players because we were at risk of getting in trouble.

FFP calculations running all the way back to the PL season, if you can find a 3 season period where we get close to 39m in cumulative FFP losses I will stand corrected.

You can control that through soft borrows which he's done but he doesn't have unlimited years to keep doing it.

its still needs covering at some point its not free money lol

It is free money as Gibson operates boro so he avoids tax on his other business. Gibson will always invest boro at a loss in the championship for this very reason and max the FFP limit

when the last time we spent big on a player lately?

We signed payero for around a reported 5 million. Riley mcgree wasn't cheap. Balogun cost a decent fee for a loan and we did bid about 9 million for muniz who went to Fulham. We have money to spend and with the sale of Spence this is enhanced by 15 million

Pelly Ruddock and one that i can't remember but was told at the time

So within the same summer we couldn't sign a player on a free transfer, but then splashed £6m on Payero? If its supposedly a wage issue, are we meant to believe we were offering Pelly Ruddock more in wages than we've paid Sporar this season?

It doesn't add up. Other than one summer under Woodgate we haven't acted like a team that is under any pressure from FFP, and the figures in the accounts back that up.

It was wages at the time. 6m is a made up figure he didnt cost anywhere near that
