We were 2-0 up and watmore was gassed and he wanted someone to do the same chasing and harrying job that he did for the last 10 mins. The sub made PERFECT sense to anyone not blinded by prejudice.

A win is a win. At this stage of the season especially. Everyone was saying before the game they'd take a 1-0 win with a goal off someone's ***, so hard to believe the negativity on here! A comfortabl

Good result, another lack lustre performance though.  Embarrassing and cringeworthy from the fans who were booing Connolly. Honestly wow. Do us a favour and don’t turn up to the Stoke game 👍🏼 ***

Thought it was same old, same old but we've livened up a bit. The goal came from quick passing which opened up the space for Tav and it was a great finish.

Sometimes it isn't rocket science you just need to move the ball quicker.

Happy to be ahead at the break. But feel if this was any team with fire power we could of been in trouble. You wouldn’t think we are going for play offs. Lacklustre, no creativity and no hunger. Balogun is making some great runs but nobody can find him, and bola is just trying to nutmeg everybody 😂

Started slowly, but goal was nice. Luckily Cardiff aren't as solid defensively as Hull or Hudds. We've managed to get in that little pocket on the byline in the 6 yard a few times.

Need another goal or two. Hugill is bound to get one (he's the only grumpy Boro fan atm...)

Actually think McGree has been ok, clearly a good player in there

Agreed he looks a good player. Don’t think he’s doing well tonight though. Probably difficult for him playing on the right to be fair to him

Which teams on the beach?

We definitely are, but I think they are too.

I said in a different thread last week that one thing which concerned me about Wilder was that he didn't seem to be able to motivate the players any more than other recent managers had done.
