I expect it's still not counting Ameobi and Fisher.

But given they didn't even taken part in pre-season, I wouldn't count them as part of this season's squad anyway.

I’ve forgotten about ameobi if I’m honest. I think something fishy has gone on behind the scenes but that’s another story.

If you could choose, would you rather:

(a) take a commanding lead against Preston in the first half while Luton and United flounder, and spend most of the match knowing we've made the play-offs, or

(b) Go through a nail-biting 90 minutes and then have our equivalent of an Aguerrroooooooo moment as we score the last-minute goal that cements our place?

Brilliant question that. I simply cannot answer it...

1. Any changes for the game at the weekend?

Just McNair I’d have thought.

2. What would be a more typical Boro definition? Us actually getting into the playoffs after this season or failing to win when Sheffield United and Luton drop points?

I don’t believe we are more typical or atypical than any other team to be honest

3. On a scale 1-10 how do you rate this season?

6…it would have been 7 but the team has really floundered recently and changes to the formation should have been made but for whatever reason weren’t and we persisted with 3 CBs and wingbacks even though we had no natural wingbacks fit.

4. If we fail to get into the playoffs who is your favoured team.

Luton because they have such a mad history from winning the league cup to playing non league football recently.

5. If you could go back and change one thing this season what would it be?

That dreadful green away kit.

Please someone confirm that we will be in the red kit

Another question are teams expected and duty bound to field their best 11 as I would hate it if Fulham did not play the same 11 as they did against Luton.

Reading well goodness knows what to expect and are Luton giving updates about their injury situation, Certainly it appeared as if some sustained injuries against Fulham

We will be in the red kit. I cannot guarantee the veracity of this claim.

They played in white at the Riverside, their home kit so this definitely should be the case.

I believe in the past they may have changed kit when we had white shorts but they didn't this time.

Found it to be a good listen, Wilder is correct in what he says and to that affect would expect Boro to have a real good go. Get the impression that the players want this as well albeit that we have no control anywhere else.

If we accept that Preston might want to spoil things for us then I hope that Fulham and Reading have the same attitude tomorrow.

B all day long.

During the summer when there no football I watch memorable boro games from the past on youtube. The UEFA cup ones, the PL years where we beat the big teams, the promotion season one where we scored many last min winners etc. I would love to add Preston away to my “boro porn” collection.

I could see Fulham resting a few players now that the league is in the bag and Mirovic has broken the record.

I'm not sure they will.

Mitrovic still has other players to catch and would surely want to add to his tally.

They've also still got to get 2 more goals to equal the Championship goals scored record.

I think we have to hope Fulham do is a favour.

I expect Luton at home to beat a weakened nothing to play for unlikely even to have the same manager Reading.

Shame both Luton and Sheff Utd are at home. Hoped we can get an early goal and make both stadiums nervous

It definitely sounds like Paul Ince is playing next season, and half of the out of contract players will be playing for their future.
