Goal of the season - Ikpeazu vs Mansfield

Best new signing - Crooks

Most improved - Dijksteel

Most underrated - Fry you could alternate this with most improved

Best match - Blackpool basically for being that moment I truly felt that was a huge turning point with the last gasp winner. Also loved the QPR away should really have got the win but we played some outstanding football that night.

Best moment - Sol Bamba's penalty at Old Trafford plus that result or his performance against Bournemouth. I just love the guy and his story.

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - I will give it 7.5 based on the Cup run as well

Player of the season - Marcus Tavernier

Young player of the season (u23) - Isaiah Jones

Goal of the season - Coburn vs Spurs. Not the most technical goal, not even really a great move, but the meaning behind it in so many ways makes it my goal of the season.

Best new signing - Crooks (absolutely no competition here)

Most improved - Jonny Howson

Most underrated - Probably Fry over the course of the season.

Best match - Has to be Spurs at home.

Best moment -  Have to agree with @smogsterking the InspiratiBamba strolling up cool as you like to score a penalty at Old Trafford was special with what he's been through.

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - Warnock part 3/10, Wilder part 9/10. Wilder rating may be a bit generous, but a cup run with a couple of giant killings will do that.

Player of the season - Marcus Tavernier has become an essential part of our team over time. He started the season contributing good defensive work but couldn't find his shooting boots when he needed to. He's got hold of his game a bit more now though, the move into midfield has allowed him to be more patient but still wanting to try things and still wanting run himself into the ground. There's one thing you can say for Tav this season, under either manager, is that if he loses the ball by trying something, he will almost certainly fight for it back and has on numerous occasions recovered from his own mistakes.

Young player of the season (u23) - Isaiah Jones, this one is quite easy isn't it. Top assists in a debut season by some margin. At his best, he has been a joy to watch. Fearless and committed, from a tricky winger into an industrious wing-back. A pleasure to have seen this part of his journey.

Goal of the season - Coburn vs. Spurs, what a moment to turn up and bang one past one of the best keepers in the country/world.

Best new signing - Matt Crooks, for the fee we brought him in for, for all the worry he was just a big lad with otherwise no threat, at his best in games he has shown himself to be plenty more adept with the ball at his feet and in his running than his aerial duels, though he has definitely helped on that front too. Top goalscorer from midfield, wonder when we last had a midfield goalscorer so high without being a penalty taker? Him and Jones forged a really good partnership on the right at times.

Most improved - Jonny Howson would have been the first on my list to get rid of at all times under Warnock. I borderline despised the credit the former manager gave him when he was at fault for so much. Wilder has given us the best version of Howson we've seen in pretty much the whole time I've seen him play for us, though. Could be forgiven for simply sitting at the base of our midfield as an anchor but when he finds the space, how many times has he broken out of position to drive us forward too? His vision at times has been immense under the current manager and who could forget the Spurs game when he perhaps played one of his best games in his career.

Most underrated - Duncan Watmore, in the midst of the underwhelming forward talent it can be easy to forget the work of little Dunc. He's had a bit of a hit-and-miss year in front of goal as have all the team but I genuinely don't think he gets the credit he deserves for the sheer amount of running he does. He's pretty smart about it too, he tends to press when it's right to press which has been something we've missed for a while towards the end of this season. He might only last 60 minutes and he might still struggle with some of the simplest chances but when he picks up the ball in a bit of space and starts running at players, you just never know what will come next.

Best match - Spurs at home. Went toe-to-toe with Antonio Conte, saw some incredible displays and goodness me, the roar when Coburn smashed that goal in. Absolutely superb. United away was going to take some beating but this one did it and then some.

Best moment - Coburn's goal vs Spurs. For all the reasons already mentioned.

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - 7/10. We had a third of the season broken by a mixture of uncertainty and everything else that came with having Warnock manage this team. But Wilder came in, gave us a period of invincibility at home as well as an batshit insane cup run and all the feelings that go with that. Disappointing to miss out on the play-offs in the end, perhaps disappointing in how we lost to Chelsea a little too (albeit nothing to be ashamed of). The final third of the season could have been plenty better and didn't even need to be much better to finish in the top 6 but I always said I'd be happy to give Wilder the rest of this season without putting too much pressure on him to succeed from the moment he came in. I didn't expect a play-off run and we nearly made it. Now I'm excited for the future.

Player of the season - Tav. MOTM most games for me.

Young player of the season (u23) - Jones. When you think he'd only played five full games in the Scottish Championship before this season... He's been unbelievable. Carried the team at times.

Goal of the season - Coburn v Spurs. What a moment.

Best new signing - Crooks. By default really, as the rest were s*** or injured. (Honourable mention to McGree who I think will be important next year.)

Most improved - Howson. Is that impressive or worrying for a 33 year old?

Most underrated - Dijksteel

Best match - Derby 4-1. I so, so thought we would lose that.

Best moment - Crooks' late brace against Reading. This a personal one for me as I'd been getting sent GIFs of Andy Carrol by Reading fans for the preceding half hour. Went absolutely mental.

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - 7. Cause for optimism. (I would have gone 6 if we hadn't beaten Cardiff and Stoke though as the season was petering out in a disappointing way)

Best match - Derby 4-1 or the win vs Spurs

Best moment -  Coburn goal vs Spurs

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - 6.5, personally feel like we should've made the playoffs but it is what it is.

Player of the season - Howson , thoroughly deserved winner on awards night. A great pro and top player and produced a performance against Spurs that is right up there with performances a Boro player has produced.

Young player of the season (u23) - Jones by a mile, Superb debut season. Excited to see what he does next season.

Goal of the season - Watmore first against Huddersfield. Superb assist from Crooks and sublime finish from Watmore, think there was lots of good play in build up before that too.

Best new signing - Crooks obviously. If not then Ameobi, hasn’t had a bad game all season.

Most improved - Tavernier - been class second half of the season and I think he’s an integral member of the team now. Would love him to stay and sign a new deal.

Most underrated - Dijksteel, my favourite player in the squad. Great player.

Best match - Really enjoyed Forest at home on Boxing Day, thought it was a wonderful performance and the crowd were great that day.

Best moment -  Coburn goal vs Spurs, hairs on the back of the neck stuff. Great times

Overall rating out of 10 for the season - 7 and very excited to see what Wilder does this summer ! Bring it on
