Hey, how's everyone finding FIFA 23 so far?

 

Long shot, but is anyone playing ps5 and up for completing the co-op comrades challenge in the next 24 hours? Due to expire shortly and I don't have anyone on PS5 who can do it with me. 3 wins needed in any game mode just

I could possibly jump on later to do that. Does it unlock for both players at the same time? Never played co-op FUT.

So far I've found it decent. I always find FIFA gets annoying to play when you're playing against pure pace and it always feels like playing Rivals or any other online mode, as soon as you're up against that it's like flipping a coin as to who will win. Offline I prefer to play more possession based.

I'm still struggling to get the hang of the new Chemistry system as well. Feels like it's been changed to allow for easier crossover between leagues and countries, which is good... but it was much easier to visualise where your problems were in the past.

Actually think this year's FIFA is the best for not totally over powering pace! Definitely passing and possession is more effective in rivals than it's ever been. 

Today's the last day that we can do the co-op thing, it's the last objective in the early access set so would be nice to manage it. Think you can just play a semi pro friendly and it unlocks too so shouldn't be too taxing. 

PSN is neverbefore too, add me if you're able to get on at some point today! 

Should unlock for both of us btw, can check after the first game to make sure we're not wasting our time!

Here's my current team. I don't tend to get too deep into fut but I am this season. Any of you guys play it every year? Could do with some advice on whether I should be spending by coins now with this lineup or should I be waiting till the market goes down and using my coins on sbc in the meantime?

I don’t trade all that much, but the market tends to go up before the first weekend league. I would imagine the higher tier players will keep going up until then as people get more money to spend on them

How do you put your team together without trading? Just whatever you get in packs?

By trading I meant like investing in players I do buy and sell players. I just don’t make investments like you see YouTubers and that do

I have a team I'm working on but chemistry is hard to fit with best players I have. I got Foden, Bellingham and Kimmich today, haven't looked into getting them into that team yet, wary of blowing my position modifiers with 2 of them. So this is what my best team looks like at the mo:

 

I am very committed on developing my 3-5-2, essentially trying to play like Wilder does, or at least how he did against Rotherham... so for the first time in what feels like years, I actually managed to buy every available Boro player without blowing a LOT of money and make that team my main squad for now:

I played the Rivals matches I needed for that objective after we finished our co-op games and won 3, drew 1. But they were my first Rivals matches this year, quality of the opposition wasn't exactly great. Think Chuba got close to 10 goals in those 4 games.

Also thought it was quite funny, the first or second match I played with Steffen in goal in squad battles, he completely *** up on a corner and essentially punched it into his own net. Incredibly realistic!

This is my current ultimate team.

Fair play to you all for playing this. Im all fingers and thumbs when it comes to FIFA and cant play it for the life of me, give me an FPS or driving SIM though and im fairly decent.
