Hi guys, looking for a bit of help with a Boro Past n Present team I'm building, I'm looking a bit short in places.

As you can tell, theres not a whole lot of Boro related content in game (trust Chuba to get a hat trick when TOTW isn't on!), so I'm trying to hunt for any potential additions I can add.

Anyone who played any sort of football for us - be it academy, trialists, testimonials etc.

Here's where I am currently at. I'm guessing theres gonna be a special Adama card coming at SOME point, as there is every year, and I've been debating the Robbie Keane card but as he never played for.us and was only assistant manager I feel a bit dirty whenever I question it

It's a tough one. There's an 84 smalling card out there, he didn't play for us but was a boro player for a few weeks - does that count?

Probably fair game if he's using Best

Also state of Best at only 90

Best does have a 93 rated card also but it's out of my price range so I put the 90 in while I bid on him

He can replace TOTW Roberts at RB! Might actually get some links!

 

Balogun is also the L30 reward in Seasons so I'll take that

How is best BTW? Thinking of getting him for my LW from the swap tokens. 

I only got Baby Best as I kept getting outbid for Mid Best. I sold him to be honest as I needed the coins for fodder to finish Jairzinho for my main team, but I'm definitely using the tokens for the 90 rated one!

This is what I'm hoping to be working with in a few weeks, once I can get the season levels done (with future stars Spence instead of the gold one)!

Anyone play fut on ps5 that fancies burning through friendlies gifting each other wins to get the new xp objectives?

So coming up on end game. How's everyone's team shaped out? I missed big chunks as I played a few other games (gow, hogwarts, totk, ffxvi were all massive and took me away from the daily/weekly grind completely so I don't think mine is much to write home about but it's decent. Got that reus in the free pack they gave out on Friday, first time this season I got something really great from a pack. Can't get his chemistry any higher though which is annoying. 

Stopped playing around the end of shapeshifters/start of level up, but I ended with this Boro squad

And the other squad attached is my last main team

I keep checking the app now and again to see if anyone else pops up for my PnP as it might get me back on for a few games but think that's probably me done

How's everyone getting on at eafc 24? Here's my team so far -

Finding defending really really tough, every game is like 7-5. Even with cordoba and blanc as my centre backs. Really struggled on champions last weekend, went 6-14. 

Guessing you're doing the standard boro pnp @OldManGravz?

 

Find the packweight to be awful too. Lots of good sbcs but no cards out there to complete them. Apart from in stone. It feels very much like its gone even further in the pay to win direction.

I've got the PnP on the go, evolutions and womens team are helping (Beth Mead at RW for the win!). Jones is still mid- evolution on the screenshot but should rise to 82

I'm also planning on an "Almost Boro" team. People we were apparently close to signing. It has a lot more icons in and should be a lot of fun but it's a total concept at the minute.

Dunno how anyone is doing those Icon SBCs, I'm struggling to get a high ranked team. Although I do need to rework my current team as I have pulled a couple of extra players since I made it.

 

 

For anyone else who likes to use ex Boro players, theres a Negredo card in SBCs
