Rotherham v Boro 1-0

Recommended Posts

80mins in the legs for mcgree.

Full 90 in for mcnair.

We were down to 10 men and looked the far better side in the second half, we just didn't have the desire to overstretch and risk injury by going too hard at it. They put 10 men behind the ball and we couldn't be arsed trying to break them down really.

It's not a bad outcome, so long as howson is okay.

On that performance we will be meeting next season again. Stroud aside we were very poor and disjointed. Poor passing and even poorer corners. Did we want it, I don't think so.

Agreed. It's almost like we have more important games coming up.

I feel for the fans who have traveled great distances in support. They don’t deserve what’s been served up today and should be refunded.
Good or bad official it’s about keeping 11 players on the pitch and at least putting a shift in. Corners 11, successful crosses 2/27 and one shot on target is not putting a shift in. Its alright saying it’s all about the playoffs but the momentum has dropped to a worrying level it’s going to be difficult to lift it to the level required. I feel since Carrick arrived the last few games has tarnished what had been a pretty good season.

Give over man! Different clubs have different budgets and ambitions - we bought two of their best players for peanuts. We'd celebrate just as much if we stayed up in the PL in our final home game.

I celebrated when we stayed up under Warnock after Woody had us heading for league 1.

Give over man, honestly.

I think that was a very worrying performance and once again we are not producing performances when we really need to do so

We didn't really need to though Alan. If we had, we'd have probably picked a different team and played with more intensity. That goes for Luton as well.

On second thoughts, I can’t tell if your post was actually serious or not after reading your last sentence

Im disapointed we lost also, I was hoping we'd have put on a performance to give Coventry something to think about but TBH, they'll know what a good team we are & how dangerous we can be, we've not become top goalscorers by luck, some of our fans throw the toys out of the pram with silly comments, today was about getting through it unscathed, Howson apart, hopefully we've done that

Hopefully we have now lulled Coventry into a false sense of security.
