Middlesbrough started with Roberts, Dijksteel, Dael Fry, McNair, Collins, Hackney, Stott, Crooks, Sivi, McGree and Nkrumah. 

Coach Michael Carrick made Brynn, Smith, Hannah, Lenihan, Bilongo, Sykes, Barlaser, Gilbert and Forss jump off the bench in the second half
