Boro v Millwall 0-1

Recommended Posts

First home game feel good factor will play a huge part I think and push the lads to a 1-0 win. I have full faith in Carrick to get them ready and put in a good performance for the game and hopefully the new signings will follow but for now we must back whoever plays.

Whatever happens so glad the Boro are back and the weekends have meaning again 🤣🤣

I think we'll pinch a narrow 2-1 win. Can still play some nice stuff with the players available.

------------------Dieng-------------------

McNair - Fry - Lenihan - Coulson

--------Barlaser - Hackney---------

------Jones - McGree - Silvera--Ā

-------------------Forss-------------------

I'd love us to start with that team however I'd put a large amount of money on Forss going RW and bloody Crooks starting somewhere.Ā

I'm going for a 3-1 win which flies in the face of everything we have witnessed in the Friendlies. In front of nigh on 30,000 fans plus corner routines which I'm sure won't be the short passes we have witnessed so far and with something at stake I think we will see more full blooded intent plus a desire form a few to prove their worth and nail down a starting berth. Our fast paced, slick passing and movement will be much more to the fore and Carrick will have settled on a team this week and focus on who covers what and where and when. Despite missing Howson, Ramsey, Archer, Giles and Akpom I think Barlaser, McGree, Silvera, ForssĀ and Jones will step up to the mark and even the somewhat maligned Rogers will open his Boro Championship account. The fact that we are less obvious without Akpom and Archer will work in our favour as the attacking playĀ will be spread across the midfield and Strikers.

I am confident for this game, not entirely sure why but I guess it’s because I believe in Carrick, the way we play, and despite missing some big players we will have enough to see off Millwall in the end. 2-1 Boro.

Dieng

McNair - Fry - Lenihan - Coulson

Barlaser - Hackney

Jones - McGree - Silvera

Forss
Ā

Although most posters don’t seem too happy I believe that Silvera, Gilbert, Payero, RogersĀ and RvdB are going going to have massive seasons for us and will only get better as the season goes on.

We have 4 league games before the window closes, if we have 7-10Ā points from them I’ll be happy and with the right signings we should get better and better.Ā If that DOESN’T happen.Ā We are f*****.
