VDB turns the wrong way. The open field is out towards our RB spot. I assume McNair is out there somewhere - and if he isn't, it's the spot Barlaser should be dropping into IMO.

Whether he got spooked from turning that way because of a Huddersfield player I don't know, but when you watch that play happen with our first string players, that ball almost always ends up our with our RB.

He was already facing that way when he received the ball, it would have been stupid to turn around in that position not knowing what was behind him. When he took that first touch, looked at his options, he should have gotten rid.

I don't agree that it's solely down to him and the keeper though, I think the shape was poor from everyone involved.

Then it's bad body positioning from him in the first place 🤷‍♂️ the whole point of that pass is to keep both sides of the field open

Lenihan's had a shocker for their second goal. What on earth is he doing? Coulson's given away an easy cross as well.

Was just about to write this after seeing the highlights. why on earth does Lenihan lose the ball out there in the first place, then Coulson somehow gets 4 yards away from crosser and Lenihan then lets their attacker have an easy header. This is 75% on Lenihan and 25% on Coulson. Just very poor.

Looks like he gets completely overpowered for the header.

To be fair to him, it was Kyle Hudlin, the biggest footballer in the EFL.

Extended highlights on youtube

You can see Rogers has it, just going to need time for it all to click together

Missing some glorious chances atm but it's promising that he has that 'chance magnet' trait, I'm sure the goals will come as he develops

Reminds me a bit of Havertz watching him, definitely comes across as a second striker so will be nice to see how he does should he play that role once a #9 comes in

Love everything about Silvera
