On one hand it makes so much sense to keep these things under wraps and I completely agree with it from a business sense.

I don't bother with his pressers anymore.

Some of the questions don't help either... They just make inane statements and prompt MC to agree: "Fans are great, aren't they Michael? Aren't they?"

Maybe they've resorted to that as he deflects every question anyway. As you say, makes sense to withhold info but boring! 

yeah they are borderline pointless as nothing is given away, can't wait to hear the offical one club with the same stuff repeated again in different order

I'd involve them on both days 🙌

Given our issues in left back and our lack of cutting edge up front I don't see how we can afford to not start both on Saturday.

I think both will be in.  The only other thing might be that Carrick selects Engel, but sticks with Crooks and Rogers, to see if a more attacking left hand side is enough to get things going maybe.

Not so sure we where good at bouncing back from setbacks last season? We ended with like 1 victory in 10....

I switched it off after a few minutes as I knew it was going nowhere and that Carrick would just ramble on without revealing anything of real importance and in fairness why should he.

but I suspect Carrick will carry on with his Crooks in the #10 role, Forss out wide and only bring in Engel as his change. 
 

Id fancy Latte Lath to come on around the 60 minute mark to show what he can do. 
 

Im hoping Engel is the piece that makes us click going forward but I feel #10 and #9 are our problem positions atm.

Forss has a bucket load more energy, game reading and goals in him than Crooks, a starter all day long for me

That would be the team i'd go with too.  I'd also be happy to see McGree inside and Silvera on the left.
