What a bizarre disinterest in tomorrows game do folks know there is a real nail biter going on at The Riverside?

I'm looking forward to it mate albeit I'm not sure what to expect.  I really thought we'd have beaten Huddersfield, and we should have, but then we didn't.  After the second half in midweek you'd be hoping we could carry some of that into this game, which is another one I'd expect us to win.  I'm assuming a back four of Smith, Fry, Lenihan, Engel.  Midfield I really don't know.  My first thought was Hackney and Howson but then I wondered if we'd be willing to put O'Brien straight in, and then I thought maybe we might see him alongside Howson but obviously that means dropping Hackney or moving him somewhere else.  McGree to start with Silvera on the right hand side maybe?  Jones apparently played well in midweek but I have a feeling that won't be enough to get him into the team.  It's hard to tell with Carrick though as the team is changing constantly at the moment.  Up front it'll be Latte Lath, and Rogers I'd guess behind him.  Greenwood on the bench but on at some point in the second half for some minutes?  Even with our start I'd say we should be too strong for QPR, and as they have been poor defensively as well then I'm hoping for a few goals.

Despite shipping 4 in the last league game I'm weirdly optimistic for this.

- We've got a side full of players who will need time to gel and play together before we get the best out of them. There were flashes of it in the WBA game, but especially in the second half against Bolton. This might be too early, but I fancy us to give our best performance of the season so far.

- Latte Lath has looked really good so far. He's still a bit of an unknown factor in the division but I have high hopes. QPR have almost shipped as many goals as us so far. ELL to grab a brace!

- Lewis O'Brien immediately makes our midfield look so much better. He's not some magic cure-all for our defensive woes but he was exactly the midfielder we needed to get, someone who is very solid defensively, technically astute and can still contribute in attack. I don't know if he'll go straight into the line-up or not, but it's nice to know that if things spiral early we have an option to bring on and give us some solidity.

- QPR's fans, going off that thread DZ linked to, don't fancy their chances, so why should we?

Will we bring in any new players before the deadline?

I reckon we'll get O'Brien, Greenwood and Bangura in. #ITK

Obviously Dieng comes in for Glover, but how many more changes would you make to the team that beat Bolton.

I'd have

Dieng

Smith fry leni engel

howson hackney

jones rogers mcgree

latte

Score prediction?

2-1 to Boro. Kickstart our season. Latte and jones to score

What crisps does Gareth Ainsworth like? Personally I reckon he shops at Aldi, so i'll say Snackrite Cheese & Onion. The dirty ***.
