Bradford vs Middlesbrough 0-2 (Latte Lath, Rogers)

Balancing act between having as much continuation as possible without putting too much risk into Saturday. Lenihan seems more robust than Fry so keep him in. Both fullbacks should be fine. Barlaser needs some minutes, Howson probably the most droppable out of him OB and Hackney, Jones the most vital out of our attackers and LL needs a goal or 2. I think it will be the below, possibly with Hackney for Howson:

Any Gk

Smith

Lenihan

Mcnair

Engel

Barlaser

Howson

Silvera

Rodgers

Mcgree

LL

So at a minimum you'd expect Dieng, Bangura, Smith, VDB, Forss, Crooks (suspended) and Greenwood (cup tied) won't be starting tomorrow.

I'd expect Howson to be rested.

I think the team will be:

Glover

McNair Fry Lenihan Engel

O'Brien Barlaser/Hackney

Silvera Rogers Jones

Latte Lath

dont know about jones, he ran himself into the ground on saturday.

greenwood and gilbert might get in the starting 11. coburn to start again? maybe lath and coburn up front with rogers and silviera wide. gilbert on bench possibly greenwood starting if coburn rested to.

Greenwood is cup tied.

I'm in the camp of naming as strong a team as possible. Just rest those who need it (and obviously leaving out those cup-tied, suspended etc.)

I'm less bothered about progressing in the cup than forging better team understanding, getting players used to their roles etc.

Obviously a win would be good for momentum & morale and you would think Boro, even in their current situation, ought to beat a team like Bradford. But if we lose its not the end of the world.

Also really hope we don't pick up any more injuries...another perennial problem it seems for Boro.
