Disagree shame on the ref for awarding the most dubious of yellow cards would rather have lost him against Exeter rather than the Soke game

So you agree then

Another good result lads. MC seems to have sorted your teething problems early on, and you're getting the rewards now. This place seems a lot happier than it was a few weeks ago.😁 Seen a few

  • Amazing how much Engel has improved so quickly

What a result .... First half was really really positive both offensively and defensively . Our transition play was quick and positive.  2nd half after our goal I thought we showed real good game

Those kind of mistakes come about because we press effectively. If we sat back that chance would never have come about. No luck about it.

plus how many goals are not the result of defensive errors, they have to happen for you to get the chance to shoot normally

I have always shown my love for Tommy Smith, think he's a real professional and leader. VDB quickly becoming a favourite too though, the whole squad is packed with decent lads though tbf and Carrick has boosted their confidence to unbelievable levels.

If that game was 8 weeks ago we'd have lost easily.

Think that's an underrated part of the recruitment, all of the players seem to have good personalities, all seem to enjoy it when their teammates are doing well and don't kick up a fuss when they're not starting. Even Latte Lath who was a big money signing who's having to wait for his opportunity behind a young inexperienced lad is always posting loads of positive stuff and liking the club's and player's posts on social media.

that young lad rowe had no right to score from where he was, fantastic goal from him. I dont class that as a defensive error. i can accept conceding goals like that. same as the QPR lad's goal, which was a wonder strike. it happens.

what i dont like is when the defense keeps backing off and almost inviting the strike. like swift vs west brom. Norwich were doing it last night. they back off coburn and he got a shot off quite close to goal it was laughable defending. similar to what we were doing. that's unacceptable. But thats stopped now really only time i think thats happened recently was when roberts ran through at SOL and dieng saved with his leg. pretty much all our defending has been spot on really. we are being aggressive and crowding out attackers instead of ball watching and backing off.

Congrats @MRe on extending your unbeaten run. At this rate you're going to be challenging legendary wrestler the Undertaker for the longest unbeaten streak! 😁

Oh and well done Carrick and the lads too. 👏 Just read the BBC match report and it looks like we were really on it yet again. Created a good few chances first half, without being able to score, but Greenwood put that right pretty much as soon as the 2nd half started, with Silvera wrapping it up in stoppage time. Just the one minor blemish, conceding with what was presumably the last kick of the game.

Good to see a couple of the new lads getting on the score sheet. The more everyone is able to contribute, the better it is for squad morale.

Crazy to think that just a few weeks ago we were wondering where our first win was going to come from. We've gone from fretting about a relegation scrap, to being genuine play-off contenders. Absolutely mental but I'm loving it! 😁

Tommy smith out for the season. Ruptured Achilles

So sad for him. A real pro and a solid player. It’s up to VDB and Dijksteel now. Thank god we have two options and good to see Dijk back last night.

That is a blow. He is an important player for a number of reasons, despite what some may say. Hopefully it’s an opportunity for VdB to cement his place or for Djiksteel to come back and make it his.

Gutted for him. I'm not a fan of his but at his age it's a real blow. Last we see of him in a Boro shirt I'd guess?

epically when at the end of the season he is potentially going to be out of contract, at his age with a injury people wont be keen to give you a good deal for it's terrible for his career

Devastated for Smith. Although he has a mistake in him he's still the best rb at the club imo.

I think we'll look at the market now. Vdb does well as a stop gap but I wouldn't fancy him there all season and I've not seen anything to suggest Carrick fancies dijksteel at all

Feel for smith. Thought he was having a great game against Birmingham. Hopefully when he’s recovering he’s in and round the dressing rooms. Seems like a top professional. Rvdb and djiksteel and maybe jones if he gets asked to play step up. Which I’m more than confident they will

I was fast becoming a fan of his and what a shame for the lad especially as how he has only returned to playing recently.

Will miss his pace on the right and his crosses as well what a blow
