If Ramsey is fit, I would jump at the chance of bringing him back. I know he only played a dozen games , but he was outstanding.

Manuel Benson however I could see us doing a loan deal with option to buy in summer.

Redcar Rioja 7,806 7.6k
I thought Nunthorpe Red was Woody and CT was AV 🤷♂️ Anyway was thumbing through my redcar reading, riting and rithmetic book and came up with Hiiro Komori, 24 Japanese Striker under the radar, taps nose! Cheap as chips I reckon £1m to £1.5m could seal the deal.

DocMartin 1,386 1.1k
I assumed Nunthorpe Red must be the owner of the Spar Shop near the crossing as they sell red wine 😉

edinboro 1,245 2k
I don't think we hear anything for a couple of days. I suspect Lath moves this week but we don't hear anything until about Thursday. Then Carrick is left with no striker for Saturday. It could be a tough week but that's life in our position. The mood does need lifting but hands are tied until we get some transfer funds in I suspect. I was shocked we lost £19m last season. Just goes to show how hard it is to compete in this league. Without the business Scott has done we would be really struggling. Hackney would have gone, we wouldn't have Rav etc. And I doubt we would have the young lads in the academy tied down to contracts. I suspect the journey back to the Premier League might take a while yet. We need some luck which seems in short supply and some signings to hit the ground running.
Alves car salesman 160 3.1k
Turkish second-tier club Amedspor have offered Heart of Midlothian striker Lawrence Shankland, who is out of contract at the end of the season, a lucrative deal. (Scottish Sun) could be a decent stop gap signing on cheap if we choose to sell ELL

A couple of years ago it was claimed that the club was costing SG £1m a month, it looks like it’s slightly more than that now…more like£1.5m a month. Thats inflation I suppose. It certainly explains why we need to sell LL for around £18m. Hopefully we’ll have the £5m from the sale of Jones to reinvest. We have a large squad of players which needs to be trimmed and so I can see why there is talk of Edmundson and Clarke leaving this window. we have a lot of dead money invested in injured players and those are 2 that we could possibly live without.
edinboro 1,245 2k
I think we will be more ruthless with players going forward. Much more focus on young players and more investment in player fitness. Carrick said something at the weekend about some players being injured a lot. It's obviously something they are still concerned about. I'm not trying to wind people up but I bet they are looking at Sunderland and their investment in purely young players. It's starting to pay off and they seem to be able to be consistent in their line ups with fewer injuries. As such I expect most of our future signings to be 23 and under for the foreseeable future.
