Suggestion from EG and Hull Live that while Giles is very likely to return to Hull, that Boro could be interested in a cut price deal for Giles but only if Carrick remains as boss.

We kind of hold the power on this one really as Hull definitly dont want him and we are not desperate for him.

@RichAcklam2404 and @scotty189 great team work. That is him.

He seems to have a growing reputation so might be out of our reach now. Recently made his full debut for Mexico national team after switching from USA. He looks a very good prospect mind.

Yeah, according to Tom Bogert, a number of Dutch clubs are interested, apparently they want around $10m

If we can get him cheap enough I think it would be a good move tbh, fills a gap in the squad for easily and hopefully cheaply. Depending on any other available options of course, there could be far better available.

The thing is if Whittaker is going to be our right sided player we would need a pretty attacking rb to support him, if that’s the case I think Borges would be the perfect balance for that on the left.

Plays a bit deeper and tucks inside a bit more and maybe helps out more defensively like Tommy smith kind of thing. But he can still put a decent ball in if needed.

It would make absolutely no sense as a move.

He was here and Carrick never used him.

Instead he was playing a bang average winger out of position for the majority of his loan move, despite him being poor defensively and limited going forwards.

Carrick pushed for Giles and then bombed him out anyway, why would we go back in for him?

He did use him until that Sunderland game where I’m guessing his confidence hit rock bottom. Maybe they think if they get him back to him self mentality wise he’d be a good buy.
