The Official Summer Transfer Window 2025/26 Season

Anyone know what type of RB Alfie Gilchrist is? Is he more defensive minded or an attacking type of RB? Went to Sheff Utd last season and started well but then struggled to get in to team.

Kessler Hayden would be my first choice but he appears out of our or ice range. Jimmy Dunne on a free from QPR looks good but given we now looking more for a RWB he probably does not suit us.

Gilchrist is definitely more of an actual RB than a RWB. He can get forward and he scored for Chelsea for example, but I think he is more of a defensive minded fullback.

Kesler-Hayden is more attack minded for sure, and its worth mentioning as its probably went under the radar, KKH was the right back for half a season at Plymouth when Whittaker was performing well and scoring lots of goals. He got recalled in the January and Whittakers output dropped a bit.

13 goals 5 assists before Jan, 6 goals 2 assists after, it might be completely coincidental obviously, but then again it might not. We all seen Whittaker needs a fullback supporting him and making outside runs to make space for him to cut inside.

KKH does look like he would be perfect for us if we can do the deal. If not, then Mumba seems like a cheaper, viable option. Both of them are attack-minded overlapping right-backs and both have played alongside Whittaker so it would be part of our rebranding as Plymouth-on-Tees.

He started as a CB. Very defensively astute. But as @Adam P said, definitely more of a Full Back.

Reads the game well though, and not afraid to throw a tackle in. Would certainly work on the right of a back 3 as well as a right FB.

When the enemy seeks the goal, deny him the space. Place all eleven upon the high ground, and build your fortress there. To yield no ground is not cowardice, but strategy — for the greatest victory is won not by attack, but by impenetrable silence.

Wasn’t he doing ok where ever he was on loan before January? I remember seeing he had around a goal every 2 games just can’t remember for what team

Yeah banged at least 10 in for stoke and sure he did 4 in one game. That's why thought was off wilder got nowt out of it.

But from some the striker's he bought in the prem first time , and the way he handled our striker's and some of the duff 1s he wanted, I've come to the conclusion he is terrible with picking and using them lol

Brighton making Cashin available for loan

He and they will probably have better offers than us but a loan to buy deal for him would be most welcome, if possible
