I think for kone we are just threw in the mix for Birminghams benefit, and the 10m seems like the number the club wishes for than the reality what will be paid, espieally on the guaranteed side.

He is decent, but unproven at a higher level. Played lots of games off the bench and scored a lot of goals for his time played. Worth the gamble as he will have a fairly small wage.

I’ve seen people mentioning needing a LWB is Edwards is appointed, I found it interesting that he had Giles at Telford in non league before he then signed him for Luton years later. Maybe if the deal was right we would look at Giles.

This just shows me how far off we are financially though. The money players go for these days is ridiculous. Look at LL for example. Even if we did get promotion there’s no way we go out and spend 20+ million on each position which is average price these days for top level player. It’s a hard task to find the next best thing players that can turn into those types (Rogers for example) fans moan but that’s the way we need to do it. Only way that changes is a few years of yo yo to the premier league to build up our bank balance

And actually keeping hold of your best players for longer than 6-18 months, and trusting that they will continue to grow in value.
