Probably in the minority but I'd have him. Thought he looked the part in the run up to the end of the last season until we didnt have anything to play for and gave mccabe the rest of the game time.  Never really got to see the best of him after his injury but apparently he's been excellent in his loan spell in US.

Still don't think we saw the best of him in a Boro shirt. Felt like he was just starting to go through the gears when the season ended having barely played the year prior and then he had that pretty lengthy injury layoff for us. I'd definitely have him back. He'll be going into the last year of his contract in the summer as well so there could be an opportunity there to do a deal. There's no way he's worth 10m or whatever it was Forest were after anymore.

The season we had Ramsay, we were playing him left and McGree right quite often and McGree did play well out there. Not a bad shout

You also have to remember he clearly stated that he hoped Boro would continue with him but sadly he was surplus to needs, hope that it does not come back and bite us

He enjoyed his time with us and that is something to admire

 

I'd sign O'Brien again too, just not sure if he'd come as back-up to Hackney and Morris.

I really like Tommy Smith as a pro and a bloke. Seems like a great guy to have in the squad. Real shame these injuries have  hampered him. But to be brutally honest, I think we could do with a better RB in general.
