I thought this was an interesting question so I have done a bit of research. According to flashscores, these have been all of our starting back 4s this season. This includes both cups but not any substitutions (cba with that). Beside each line up tells you how many times we have seen it this season.

 

29 games played.

13 different combinations. 

 

I know we have had injuries but that is ridiculous to me.

Hi All, I'm definitely not an ITK! I infrequently get the odd snippet on match days. The club are watertight with transfer dealings. Bausor, Scott and Gibbo don't go round spreading rumours to their mates.

Thanks (for finding it interesting and for doing the work haha) no it just occurred to me the other day when I was thinking about our good run need of last season we had a settled CB pairing of VDB and Clarke most weeks and Ayling and Engel usually and noticed this season we have changed a lot. I know some is injuries but surely it has some effect when players are chopping and changing so much

I think our best combo would be 

Dijksteel, VDB, Clarke, Borges

He linked 3 clubs, the usual rule is 3 or more clubs and its agent trying to get the club linked to hurry up
