Got to think a record purchase would want to be top paid player as well. Miranchuk cost 12 million euros, so that gives an idea of relative value/salary. Don’t seem like they’ll sell any key players either They are currently reaping the reward for having Mowbray oversee a lot of young and developing players in much the same way AK did for us. The owners forced Mowbray to do without experience to the extent that he was forced out. They then screwed up massively but this season have gained the benefits. Just checking on Transfermarkt but they have 10 players who have played 20 times or more in the Championship. Only three of them are over 24.
