Echo article seemed to suggest that with a lot of interested parties we're expecting an offer from someone in excess of what Atlanta have tabled.

Idk I think that’s trying to get a bid I feel like West Ham have other targets as I think someone said here potter doesn’t want him, Ipswich I can’t imagine them spending 20 to be back up to Delap especially after signing Philogene and Italy as a league is broke

The Echo piece about Doak seems a bit of a rehash of a Mirror Football article from earlier today rather than actual new information. 

Liverpool have about 6 forwards and Nixon even said yesterday Bournemouth are prepared to wait until the summer for Doak. 

Should Doak go I don’t think it’ll be Semenyo related.

It’s probably just his agent trying to get other clubs to bid

Honestly I think West Ham are setting their bar a bit higher than a Championship player, considering the player they get will instantly be first choice due to their injury problems. They'd want someone a bot more proven. Fair enough if they were looking for a second or third choice forward but they need someone with a bit of experience from a higher level right now.

Yeah Jonathan David seems to be their main target but apparently they also bid for Duran from Villa so I’d be shocked if they go for Lath now

Someone changed ELL's Wikipedia page to say he was an Ipswich Town player. It's been changed back now, but still appears on the "About" section for him on a google search. Maybe his agent has been showing Ipswich how it might look, to convince them to put in a bid for him 😂

The exact same could have been levelled at ELL and Akpom previously, the lad has played his entire career as a Forward and primarily a CF at that. He didn't receive much in the way of support or service on Saturday, indeed he has recently been the "go to" to provide width and service for ELL from the left. Heaven only knows what is going on with McGree but he is a shadow of the player he was when first arrived and with both Doak and Azaz missing whoever was playing the main striker role was always going to be up against it. The team as a whole didn't function so I wouldn't make any rash judgements on any individual based on that.

I’d hope we have a couple of exciting names to bring in or I can see the fans turning big time.  Thoroughly depressing that we’ve not been able to hold on to the best two strikers weve had in years the season after they score a hatful of goals. I get the model, i understand where we stand, but Im finding the whole thing pretty depressing. We’re 5th in the league and selling our best asset in Jan. I can’t think of any other teams going for promotion doing that. Meh
