The Summer Transfer Window 2025/26 Season - FREEEEEEEDOOOOOM!!!!

Wonder whether the thinking will be to try and unearth another Latte Lath in a foreign league or to go big on someone more established domestically like a Cannon.

I noticed Archer seems to be out of favour at Southampton as well. Started less than half their games and played only marginally more than half their minutes this season. Wonder if there would be a deal to be done there. Wouldn’t be cheap mind but he’s someone who already knows the club, the area, Carrick’s system and in theory could hit the ground running.

I presume he is way out of our league in terms of wages now

If we lose ELL, it will also put some more pressure on Carrick to get us results - which again, may help to see if he is fully up to the task, as this is effectively his team now.

I would think there would be more pressure on Carrick if we turn down serious money so that our promotion effort isn't weakened.

If we sell ELL he has a ready made excuse.

Good article in the Echo about the situation

"Targets regarded as attainable this month are already in place, with Michael Carrick having been heavily involved in the planning process."

Good article. Disagree with ELL being the least damaging loss out of him, Hackney, and Rav though.

It Lath does end up going to the US it is probably a better deal for us than him going to the prem with add ons, sure the the Add Ons will be easier to obtain from playing in the MLS than in the Premier league.

Not that I want him to leave, very hard to replace with his work rate that he puts in, and comes across as a likeable guy.

There are a few now that Scott has brought in that seem to be reasonable and decent to be around, Rav, Ell, Engel etc. important to avoid the drama queens with ego's bigger than the Transporter and more baggage than Postman Pat.

Maybe expect a few names being linked this week then. I can see him not being involved on Saturday which means Burgzoeg will be up top 😭

Yeah was just thinking this, sadly can't see him starting Saturday if he's still here. I'd like me to be wrong on that

Maybe Burgzorg up top will be more formidable with Azaz and Doak supplying the Ammo than Gilbert and Hamilton?
