I’d imagine it’s coming from Morton’s side more than ours, although I’m sure we’re not exactly discouraging him. Like I said he’s been very open about wanting regular game time.

He’s the classic Liverpool academy Gerrard regen attempt, he does look pretty tough tackling and combative though.

We wouldn't do that.  The club were really annoyed with Lath's agent so I can't see us doing the same thing to another club.  We're too honourable for those kinds of shenanigans👀

I guess time would tell but, for what it’s worth, I think he looks a really good player. 

Just speaking objectively, it is a bit of a crap way to treat someone who has been part of your club since he was 7 years old.

I understand that especially with PSR now these big clubs want to maximise the amount they can get for their academy products, but when it’s so clear that he’s not part of their plans I think to stand in the way of him furthering his career elsewhere is poor.

Morton would be unbelievable. Would be harsh from liverpool if they waste another 6 months of his career. We can’t loan him so a permanent deal with buyback clause sounds good for both clubs
