He’s not had the best of seasons and he’s incredibly injury prone. I’m not sure top tier clubs will see him as a good option just yet for the money we'll demand. Really don't think he's as good as some fans think he is. In the 2 seasons he's been here we have been pretty damn average. injury prone. Whinger. i think he will push for a move.

Yeah club were criticised for only making that a loan deal and not a permanent but right now that is one they got right. And they did not get many right in January. Expect him to start v QPR mind. TLF10 5,418 7.1k
My biggest worry is Morgan Whittakar will prove to be a flop. I was against signing him in summer when people weee advocating a move for him as I had a feeling he was sort of a one season wonder. Really hope I am wrong and he proves me wrong. I dont even want him to hit 20 goals a season like he did last season but I do think a player like him should be hitting double figures each season at this level for goals and assists
block17 183 161
Scott's going to have to put more spin than a Shane Warne googly to justify the abysmal January window when he finally comes out of hiding and puts his head above the parapet. Wrong players for the wrong positions with the wrong temperament. Worst window since we signed gestede. Months and months to find lattes replacement and the best he can find is innacho 👌 its fuckìng amateurish

It was widely reported we had a list of 3 targets but were not prepared to pay over the odds so Nacho was a stop gap as Sevilla agreed to cover over half his wages. Poor signing but rather have this loan mistake than a multi million pound striker mistake. Hopefully summer we can find a proper LL replacement.

We had 6 months knowing he was leaving to find a replacement. I know jan is difficult to deal in, but it's not so difficult that we end up with iheanacho as our best option after that length of time for scouting and setting up deals.

I would go Travers Dijksteel Howson Borges McCormick Morris McCabe Hackney Forss Conway Burgzorg

The notion that it was either Iheanacho or a multi million pound failure is just a bad excuse.

I’m starting to think that the Jam signings maybe apart from a Whittaker we’re just the cheapest option to fill a space to get us to the summer and rebuild with a new manager

Each January, we buy one young creative player as a potential starter with plenty of room to gain in value (McGree, Barlaser (sort of), Azaz, Whittaker); we get 1 or 2 free players to start in the U21s and we use loans to plug any gaps. This time we had more loans than usual due to our injury crisis meaning we needed to loan a keeper and Carrick finally got his wish with Giles. It looks like we weren't able to land our top striker target(s) so we went with a loan instead and loaned Iling Junior as a "too good to turn down" unexpected option. January Loans since Scott started Balogun & Connolly Archer & Ramsey Ayling & Thomas Iheanacho & Iling Jr + Giles & Travers
Denzel Zanzibar 8,867 16.6k
Not signing a CB after we let Clarke go was absolute insanity, and it's entirely Carrick's fault.
