After giving it some thought, I feel Boro are more of an Alice In Chains club. We're Down In A Hole, our wide players spend entire matches wishing we had a Man In the Box and Carrick & co really have No Excuses left. Planned in summer, kept hold of players, noises of best squad in a while in good shape etc etc only to decide in Jan that’s not the case. I was a fan of cutting the squad of players that aren’t good enough but you should only do this if you have better replacements. For example Jones could have played RB or in a back 5 and moved Dijksteel to CB. Clarke could have played CB and would have probably ended up playing a lot of games had he stayed. Should have said to LL there will be better options for you in the summer so give us til then. So many mistakes off the pitch as well as on.
