Yeah he clearly got strong info on this one, all my point was that I hope he was wrong cos I didn't want to sign Bamford and seemed to take that as me having a pop at him when I wasn't. Simply saying I didn't want Bamford.

He then went on the attack saying he reckons I was one who thought Bamford forced through a move to Leeds all them years ago. So I retaliated.

Can't remember what my feelings were at the time tbh. Wouldn't have been surprised if he did want to move back then though with Pulis playing him left wing at times.

Has he done anything public facing since the Woodgate unveiling press conference? 
Edit: I know he's done fan meetings and stuff, I meant something that was available and accessible to all supporters, like an interview or a press appearance.

I don't think it makes much odds mate. The vast majority of us have our eyes wide open to the reality of where we now sit in the football pyramid. He doesn't have to come out and say we're now a middling Championship club for us all to recognise that fact. The last 9 years tell us that much.

I'd respect him more for fronting up and being honest with us.
