On Bamford. He is the best forward we have had in my opinion since the Premier League days. We should never have got rid of him when we did although theres mixed stories about whether Pulis forced him out or he demanded to leave. He was on fire that season until he was knocked out on the pitch and then never got another start despite his form. 

Would I take him back now. That would depend on the terms. His fitness hasnt been great over recent years but if mostly performance based pay I dont have a problem with that. 

Personally not a fan of buying an ageing left back and putting him into CB. Borges is already doing that but is younger just buy or loan a centre back. If you want to build a solid defence put in solid units 

Surely we aren’t bringing in somebody who turns 32 next month to play first choice as one  of probably the most demanding positions in football, Left wing back

Not sure if this is still relevant but no Oumar Diakite in the Reims squad for their first league fixture this evening.

He's third choice for that position at Southampton too.

The "plan" has certainly gone out the window if this is the calibre and nature of player were signing. Kante the only player weve signed this summer whos value might increase.

Not sure. Think hell be first choice, cant see us signing two lwbs given our lack of funds. 

So by the sounds of it, Paddy had reached out, said he's willing to pretty much walk away from his contract at Leeds,come to us for bobbins and try to help us out? And people have a problem with that. I'm not sure what people are expecting in the current climate.

He's a super intelligent football wise as well as normal world wise, very good footballer. We would be daft not to try and make something happen.

With the rumours Rav didn’t train at all today but he still did last week, maybe he is futher along with leaving and we’ve moved for Diakite 

Much like my acceptance of signing someone like Bamford, I would only be happy with Taylor as a signing if he's an "as well as" not the only one.
