I apologise for my recent lack of contributions and enthusiasm of late but I was somewhat under a cloud of uncertainty. At my age the NHS invites you to do all sorts of things and one was to take

Remember the meltdown on this forum just 4 weeks ago about lack of transfer and ambition of our club. Just to summarise some of the utter shi*e spoken less than a month ago: 1. Our club has

With the rumours Rav didn’t train at all today but he still did last week, maybe he is futher along with leaving and we’ve moved for Diakite

Which I think explains the sudden names coming up

So by the sounds of it, Paddy had reached out, said he's willing to pretty much walk away from his contract at Leeds, come to us for bobbins and try to help us out? And people have a problem with that. I'm not sure what people are expecting in the current climate.

He's a super intelligent football wise as well as normal world wise, very good footballer. We would be daft not to try and make something happen.

I don’t think anyone said he would walk away from his contract at Leeds! He is supposedly negotiating his contract being paid up. It may be that if he tried to sign for a large salary somewhere, Leeds would try to reduce his pay-off by a significant amount. By agreeing a pay per play deal, it’s difficult for Leeds to use that to reduce his payoff when he was injured so much for them!

He's an aging permacrock who's been badly out of form for years.

We'd be daft to try and bring him in.

Ings, Akpom, Bamford….

Can only assume someone accidentally deleted the hard drive with the scouting reports.

These links just get better and better, dear me. Players who have barely played in the past few years, dodgy injury history and big wages, have I gone back in time?!

Apart from Josh Key, Nixon has been fairly reliable of late.

First to call Whittaker, Strelec, Edwards, Brittain and Pandur so you’d imagine there might be something in this.

Is he a perma crock? Was injured up until Xmas last season then stayed fit till the end, season before that he played 30 odd games, same the season before that. He’s played over 100 games in the last 3 seasons.

Not that I’m saying there isn’t concerns or unknowns, but why do we always have to over exaggerate? He seems to have done fine being used as a sub and occasional starter at Leeds which is probably what he’d do here aswell.

I think we should extend our searches to Valley Road, and Framwellgate Moor…

Had fitness and injury issues throughout last season.

Missed 2 months of 2023/24.

Missed 2 months of 2022/23

Missed almost the entirety of 2021/22.

It's not exaggerating, he can't stay fit.

I know a lot of Leeds fans and they've always complained about his fitness issues and poor finishing.

Both Bamford and Taylor have played about 80 games in the last 3 seasons, bit harsh to say ‘barely played’?

As long as they aren’t the main signings for those positions can we really complain? All we’ve done all summer is highlight how bad our depth is beyond the starting 11, these are 2 seemingly achievable players who would address that.

But how many of those games were 90 minutes? Would love to know the average games played per season. If Taylor is coming in as a LCB then why?! He’s played there 22 times in his career, that’s it. Why don’t we just go for an actual CB. I also can’t see him as an ‘option’ for LWB

just because one guy on here said he might play LCB doesn’t mean he’s gonna 😂

He probably won’t be playing many 90 mins here either.
