just because one guy on here said he might play LCB doesn’t mean he’s gonna 😂

He probably won’t be playing many 90 mins here either.

I’m just covering the two positions he is likely to play and both don’t make any sense. Also, in relation to his ‘games played’ over the last 3 seasons he has averaged 20 full 90’s. As for Bamford, his is 14. Both absolutely god awful

That doesn’t mean he’s not a good player, it just means Latte Lath is superior, which is pretty obvious considering we sold him for a like £22m

I didn't say that he wasn't a good player.  I said that he isn't suited to playing up front on his own.  But what those stats do mean is that with him up front you don't get promoted yet with Lath in the same team you have a decent shot.  As we are trying to win promotion, I assume we are anyway, that's where it becomes relevant.  I used the Lath comparison because we are talking about the same group of players in the same time period, which is about as good of a comparison as you can make in football.  The difference was big.  If it was a small difference then it wouldn't have been worth me mentioning but it is quite a big difference when you are talking about the same group of players.  What's more likely, that the difference is due to the team changing because of a different player or that all of the other players just had off days when Conway was playing?  And why is it that Conway's record at Bristol City is very similar to his record here?  Two different teams, different groups of players, but both teams have a very similar points per game when he plays for them.  Bristol City got better after he left as well although I was told that it wasn't fair to say that was because of him.  By itself it might not be but I think the evidence overall suggests that there might be something to it.  Not to mention that most of you have said the same bloody things yourself - that he isn't suited to playing up front on his own, which is all I'm saying.  I'm just giving some actual reasons for it.

We’re not bringing in a 31 year old Charlie Taylor to play LWB, come on now.

He’d obviously play LCB in a 3 or LB in a 4…

rav replacement maybe, jones was said not to be a replacement. we need the numbers if playing 3 each game. who've we got now.

Fry

Lenihan

jones

ayling

borges

thats a pretty weak selection if you take into account lenny is hardly played in 2 years. ayling is getting on and borges isnt a typical cb, but looks suited from what we have seen (as a stand in atleast) fry with his injury record. if we didnt sign another cb i would be a worry over a full season. all it would take is a wing back and lenny n fry to break down and we'd be barebones.

oh forgot about edmunson. maybe i should continue to forget about him to haha

For a team who have struggled to get deals this summer and are clearly very budget conscious, youre very confident that were suddenly going to go from that to signing two players for multiple positions in the last couple of weeks
