Dynamo Kev 1,991 6.5k Posted August 26 Share Posted August 26 that strelec seems a really natural finisher. just seems to effortlessly do whatever he's doing. shooting, slipping in passes. i always feel conway seems to rush everything. they are certainly different in play style. sometimes players like him can adjust easily to higher leagues. all depends on will he be able to remain clam and composed under higher pressure/tension throughout the games. if he can with his play style he'll be pretty good. thats even if we are going in for him now. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Intelligent team player. If he can translate that form into this league then we could have a ‘complete striker’ for a bargain. Those stories only came out the day after Dom Shaw had said the quote you mentioned. I assume we have a Plan B to Strelec though, possibly a loan from a PL club. So that's probably someone unnamed in the press, as I think the only other strikers we've been properly linked with this summer are Sabaly and Ings (and very tenuously Bamford) and it won't be any of them. But I imagine the coaching set up at other clubs has helped him get to that level, as well as doing the business in the prem. it does show that our scouting team have some good finds in amongst the rotters.
