You have a gas leak there or something.      Safe to use a naked flame or strike a match or what.    Regards the game didn't think we'd win today.    After WBA where we lost thought another defea

Don't get much chance to post on here lately, we've been stuck in League One for a few years but now we're back and really making an impact.      We lost our first away game since February at WBA a co

There's obviously some truth to that.  McGree walks into the team, or he should do, as he's a better player than Rogers or Greenwood.  I think Smith is a better right back than VDB to be honest.  I do

Out the 10 players only 3 (Fry, Paddy and Hackney have a chance of being fit). Assuming none are fit then only line up I can see Carrick going with is:

Dieng

Howson VDB Clarke Bangura

Crooks Barlaser

Greenwood Rogers Silveria

Lath

I think this is the most likely team, except Greenwood and Silvera reversed. I know Cartwright and McCabe have made the bench recently, but I think it's asking a lot of them to go centre mid with Barlaser against a good team.

Good job BS thanks

I hope some of our old Ipswich members return for this thread as they showed just how knowledgable they and certainly welcomed previous contributions from them.

Do so enjoy the mdt when opposition fans contribute don't you?

best ask hackney as fry wont understand the gravity of the situation

Of course he will. He knows gravity was invented by Newton with an apple 🍏 🤣

We've had quite a few players who have represented both Boro & Ipswich Town but for me up there  are Beattie, Mogga & Leadbitter

Mogga & Leadbitter don't need any introductions to what the club means to Boro but I put Beattie in there due to the fact even with one good leg, retired from football due to injury then returned to play part time for Colchester when big Mal brought him here & even though he only played 5 games he still stood head & shoulders above the rest, I certainly didn't realise how good he was plus he scored the last FAC goal at Ayresome Park

I remember Beattie playing away for us at Charlton , we won 3-2. Beattie went off when it was 3 nil. Allan Simonsen was playing for Charlton that day.

Think Ipswich have done very well since promotion and are certainly on a roll and not many established Championship teams have played against them in recent years.

It is a game I believe that we must win, certainly a must not lose match.

We  showed some promise against Leeds despite being down to ten men and if our strikers find their shooting boots and convert chances then we should be  ok

We will win this ... If you look at Ipswich's table position isolated ... it looks very good, but if you look at their opponents and what state they were in at the time, it has been an easy to medium level of opposition in most games .. Ipswich's downfall will start Saturday and they will end up outside of top six come May.

Can Silvera even play on the right?

Another loss I think, Ipswich are in magical form, 1-2.

Lath up front.

There home form is unbelievable, but there last 5 away games they’ve managed only 1 win against Bristol City. They also drew against Brum, Hudds and Rotherham. Hardly the big hitters in the league. So think it’s fair to say there recent away form is a bit dodgy
