I remember he went as part ex for Wilko and Falconer. Thought we got him from Ipswich,  old age creeping up haha

Not old age creeping in Hammy, your knowledge is very good. Yes we signed him from Norwich but the Boro book complete record says we signed him from Ipswich Town in July 1989, he signed for Norwich from Ipswich

Don't get much chance to post on here lately, we've been stuck in League One for a few years but now we're back and really making an impact.      We lost our first away game since February at WBA a couple of weeks ago, fair play they deserved it.     We didn't show up and underperformed and they were up for it, it was a fair result.

We score more goals than just about anyone else in the division.    Have loads of attacking potential but keeping them out is often a problem.    Been games at Portman Road this season and seen  4 - 3's and  3 - 2's .      Only Leeds have taken a win and they had to score four times to do it.    On the road we're still formidable, only one defeat all season.       We'll have two or three pivotal names out through injury or suspension but think Boro will be missing some players too.

We need to win to keep up pressure on the automatic promotion places.    I think we'll at least get a play-off shot but to get promotion to the premier league one season after coming up from League One would be amazing.       It's just a trip up the East Coast for this, you could charter a boat and sail up to Middlesbrough past Yarmouth Grimsby and Scarborough to make it but all I want is to see the team perform on the day and make a real good fight of it.

If we play like we can and put our minds to it it's within our capabilities to do it.

I have a bad feeling about this one.Ipswich seem to score the type of worldies most weeks that we seem to concede most weeks. My prediction 3- 1 to the Tractor Boys.I obviously hope im wrong.Im in Lanzarote so i might be hammered anyway thus numbing the pain👀

You have to hand it to Ipswich, for a number of years they flattered to deceive to get out of league one, in the end they done it comfortably & have continued in the same vein, winning & scoring lots of goals in the process

Will they secure one of the automatic spots at the end of the season, well I thought Leeds would be the one to go up with Leicester but after watching them last week im not so sure, Ipswich could be the suprise package, time will tell

We certainly have our work cut out against a team that is flying & full of confidence
